About the Performers

Dustyn Baulkham
Dustyn is passionate about creating more inclusive and welcoming communities. Part of one of the first waves of graduates from UBC Okanagan and the Bachelor of Management program, Dustyn spent ten years in the finance industry, most notably in Vancouver and London, Ontario, before taking the plunge and launching his own consulting company. It was a smart move. In the past five years, having returned to beautiful Kelowna, Dustyn has served as the Workforce Development Officer with the Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission (2-year contract), served as the Executive Director of the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan (2 years), and is currently the General Manager with the Kelowna Pride Society (year 3). This led to him being selected as the Canadian LGBT Young Entrepreneur by the Canadian LGBT Chamber of Commerce in the summer of 2020.

Upon returning to the Okanagan, and with his desire to see a more equitable and inclusive society undiminished, Dustyn realized the growing need for events and experiences specifically for the LGBT2Q+ community and their allies. His newest entrepreneurial endeavour is Rebellious Unicorns Production Company Inc.

Ella Lamoureux
Ella Lamoureux is one of the founding performers of the Kelowna drag scene. From Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar drag competition, Embodiment, #2muffs1collr, to recent star on Call Me Mother, Ella has carved out her place as one of the most influential and stunning drag performers in Kelowna. A makeup artist by trade, Ella will eternally tease you with her beauty. But, watch out if you displease her — that tongue is quick and sharper than you think! She’s generally “as sweet as cherry pie” and she brings so much love and joy to the community. A true charmer, Ella Lamoureux is Kelowna’s Sweetheart.

Matthew Presidente
Rock/pop pianist/singer/songwriter Matthew Presidente (he/him/his) has been a part of the music scene in Vancouver for nearly 20 years. Independently recording and releasing 6 full-length albums, he has been involved in a wide range of musical collaborations and performances. A local Metro Vancouver resident, Matthew was raised in Tsawwassen, where he began playing piano at 10 years old. Since then he has gone on to master guitar and percussion but considers himself a piano player by trade. Referred to as “one of — if not — the best singer/songwriters our LGBT scene has” by Xtra Magazine (Vancouver), Matty has performed in rosters among headliners such as Ace of Base and Dragonette.
