Celebrated queer-themed Vancouver singer/songwriter Matthew Presidente performs an exclusive set virtually for Oasis TV! A huge fan of the Oasis bar, Matthew would typically be in San Francisco around this time of year to enjoy the Folsom Street fair. Instead, this year he’s put together a special performance from his home in the West End of Vancouver, BC. Through this intimate 25 minute set he performs mostly solo (in leather shorts) on the keys – songs from throughout his career, his soon to be released new single ’Standing in the way of Love’, a Queen cover and a special tribute to Folsom Street! Joined virtually by musician Tara C Taylor (Berlin, DE), the duo pay tribute to their experiences in San Francisco through their song ‘Leather & Love’. Referred to as “one of — if not ­— the best singer/songwriters our LGBT scene has” by Xtra Magazine (Vancouver), Matty has been on the music scene for nearly 20 years.
