The end is nigh…the end of 2020! And the future is bright, friends! Join your host, Matthew Presidente, on New Year’s Eve at 8 pm (PST) for a musical showcase to sing out the year with BYE 2020! Performed live from his apartment in Vancouver, BC, Matty will be joined by special guests as he performs some of his favourite originals, plus a piano bar set of songs taken “by request”. Special appearances by Cale Tian, of the Vancouver Mens’ Chorus, and Tara C Taylor, who beams in from Berlin, Germany to give us our first look at 2021. Don’t miss the official BYE 2020 ‘Countdown to Midnight’ just before 9 pm (PST). Why 9 pm, you say? Real talk: we want you to enjoy the show and the countdown with a clear mind (for viewers in the Eastern Time Zone, it’ll be Midnight anyway)! BYE 2020 is available by Pay-Per-View for $10, and is free to stream for all current Unicorns.LIVE subscribers. See you NYE to say BYE 2020: 8 pm, December 31, 2020, right here on Unicorns.LIVE!

About Matthew Presidente

Rock/pop pianist/singer/songwriter Matthew Presidente (he/him/his) has been a part of the music scene in Vancouver for nearly 20 years. Independently recording and releasing 6 full length albums, he has been involved in a wide range of musical collaborations and performances. A local Metro Vancouver resident, Matthew was raised in Tsawwassen, where he began playing piano at 10 years old. Since then he has gone on to master guitar and percussion, but considers himself a piano player by trade. Referred to as “one of — if not — the best singer/songwriters our LGBT scene has” by Xtra Magazine (Vancouver), Matty has been on the music scene for nearly 20 years, and has performed in rosters among headliners such as Ace of Base and Dragonette.
