I’m excited to release the next single from my upcoming album – ‘Different Dreams’! This is the most new wave 80s inspired of my new songs loaded with synths, 808s and Mellotrons. Of course, we’ve also given it the full band treatment along with deep grand piano, rhodes and guitars. So it still rocks hard!
My friend Tara C Taylor lends her vocals on this one, recorded from her studio in Berlin. The rest was recorded here in Vancouver at Hipposonic studios. With Mikey Chamzuk holding down the drums, Ian Malinski with his beautiful baseline, Matt Roach (of Raincity Recorders) mixed the song and also plays some beautiful guitar! The photoshoot by the amazing Cale Tian captures the feeling of the song – being torn between two worlds! I can’t wait for you to hear it!
