Review:

Tonight's show was a blast - and another incredible full band performance - the band is sounding really good, and starting to rock some serious ass - Brad and John have a metal influence on matt and it has brought some major intensity into the set! The show started out with a loud, vicious WORTH HIS WHILE, and then they performed the full band debut of FEELIN' GOOD complete with matt & brad's rap in the middle - this was a crowd favourite! Rose Record leant her beautiful voice to AS I GO ALONG, and INSECURE/IMMATURE was a huge epic funk jam as usual! Matt performed Bruce Springsteen's I'M ON FIRE solo, and then did a fun version of THE COUNTRY SONG with john henville on drums. The last few songs of the set built in intensity with a gorgeous bombastic LAST NIGHT I DREAMED THAT WE BOTH DIED, and a wild performance of LONG TALK with head banging and all! SCHIZOPHRENIA (the sonic youth cover) is really sounding good, and JULY was a wicked closing number. Big fan Diana Hooper who has been to many shows was surprised and impressed by this particular night! The crowd was attentive and polite, and the Marine Club was a pleasure to return to!
Also performing sets at this show were fellow band mates Brad Pedwell and John Henville - Brad played a solo set (with matt joining for keyboards on a couple songs), and although he was 'drunk as fuck' he still managed to rock the house - John Henville finished off the night with a solo setlist half on piano and half on guitar - this dude really knows his instruments!
