Review:

A completely solo show for Matt - just him at the piano for an hour... He covered his guitar player's song 'Big Trucks', did a duet with Rebecca McGee for 'I'm on Fire', played a rousing version of 'Let it Be' as well as some never before played songs such as 'Petals' and 'Red Hot Mama'. Matt was joined by Rose Record on 'As I go Along' for backup vocals, and by Rebecca McGee on drums for 'Troubled'. Matt closed his set with a beautiful, jazzy 'Autumn Leaves' perfect for an acoustic night at starbucks. Lauren Barber then took the stage for a breathtaking 20 minute set - her voice carried through starbucks and moved everyone who heard her. Then Rebecca McGee and Matt launched into 'Crucify', kicking off their hour long TORI AMOS TRIBUTE II set which was completely different from their first. 'Caught a lite Sneeze' was a strange organ demo, 'Me and a gun' was done with the keyboards (not a capella as usual!) and Rebecca did an excellent job belting out Tori favourites such as 'Concertina', 'Sugar', 'Bliss' and 'Humpty Dumpty'
