Review:
Matt played a couple excellent sets tonight at Damoe's along with
supporting acts LEONORA RECORD and SCOTT SMITH (of bottleneck)! This was to kick
off the weekly music show at Damoe's lounge. Matt played two short sets solo to
the small but attentive crowd - in the first set Matt did a song he hasn't done
solo acoustic in over 2 years - I CAN'T BREATHE, an old favourite. Also, he was
joined by Rose Record for AS I GO ALONG and ANGEL. The second set was divine...
solid performance, great song choices (mostly new ones - including amazing
performances of SHE'S A SCORPION and RED LIGHT) - some songs that haven't been
played in awhile; JUST IN TIME (FOR XMAS TIME) and TROUBLED! A solid
performance, and a great night all in all.
