Review:

    Another great show at numbers tonight - there were lots of amazing guests, and the show ran a lot longer than usual. Jenn Boyd amazed the crowd with her powerhouse vocals (she closed the evening with a touching performance of Ani Difranco's INDEPENDENCE DAY). Helen Rose was emotional and beautiful on STAND BY ME, and LOVE ME LIKE A MAN. Kacie's lovely vocals sounded perfect on BEAUTIFUL DISASTER and GOD BLESS THE CHILD. Christopher Doucet played 2nd keyboard for most of the show and proved to the audience what a talented and versatile musician he is. Tara Taylor was great as usual. The whole gang did a jam performance of HALLELUJAH with everyone singing on it... needs a bit of work. Despite his wicked hangover from the weekend, Matthew was stellar as always. Highlight was when Chris played piano and Matt sang on Joni Mitchell's LAST TIME I SAW RICHARD.
