Review:
Tonight's show was very very emotional! Set one
started very slow with a small crowd - Stephen Emery kicked it off with a
powerful set including fan favourite CUL DE SAC RUT. Then Matt sang and Stephen
played guitar for Hedwig and the Angry Inch's MIDNIGHT RADIO.
Set one started with a rare performance of WORTH HIS WHILE by
Matt, followed by a gorgeous version of GRACIOUS with Christopher on the drums.
Tara Taylor was a powerhouse tonight with her original material! Kacie was
lovely as usual, Rose Record joined Matt on 2NITE and it was very beautiful.
John Henville returned from Japan just to do a beautiful performance of FOREST
BOOGIE!
The highlight of the night was Matt & Kacie doing the encore
of PURPLE RAIN - it was a very emotional and powerful performance - the
surrounding circumstances made it even more so.
