Review:

    ROCK JUBILEE! Tonight's show was a ROCK themed show, where Matt and the guests did an entire evening of Rock n' Roll cover songs through the ages... working their way through the 70s, 80s, and 90s they covered some very important bands, as well as some of their favourites! Between the awesome performances, the interesting song choices, the great crowd, and the amazing host Ms Trish Trash, tonight's show was a real hit!
    Starting with LED ZEPPELIN Matt performed an intense solo version of WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS to kick the show off! He was then joined on stage by Kacie to perform a jazzy, dark DAZED AND CONFUSED which thrilled the eager crowd. Christopher played guitar and joined Matt on GOING TO CALIFORNIA.
    Trish Trash introduced the next band choice THE BEATLES, and Matt did a bouncy solo I'M ONLY SLEEPING, then moved to the guitar while Christopher played piano and Byron sang IN MY LIFE.
    Tara Taylor did a hilariously rockin' mini AC/DC set which features HIGHWAY TO HELL, SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT, and a side-splitting spoken word performance of BACK IN BLACK. She brought down the house!
    Set one ended with GUNS N' ROSES, with Rose Record singing SWEET CHILD O' MINE, and Matt doing a vicious performance of NOVEMBER RAIN.
    Set two featured a really special segment - NCOCB (the nineties chamber orchestra cover band)! This featured Matt on piano, Byron on cello, Christopher on acoustic guitar, Devon on electric guitar, and Kacie singing! The highlights were Nirvana's HEART SHAPED BOX which featured a bit of Cypress Hill's HITS FROM THE BONG. The best was when the entire group of performers collaborated on the Marilyn Manson version of SWEET DREAMS with Kacie singing - incredible!
    The encore went back to the 70s with two Pink Floyd songs sung by Matt and Kacie - COMFORTABLY NUMB and WISH YOU WERE HERE! What fun!
