Review:

Night fifteen at numbers was a very special one indeed! A nice big crowd, and excellent performance made it very special. Tonight was the first night in over 10 weeks that Jenn Boyd wasn't part of the show (since she is chasing kangaroos in australia) and she was missed dearly tonight, however the show went on! Helen and Kacie did an amazing job with the female aspect of the performance. Stephen Emery performed his "jaded, but not bitter" set and it was brilliant, upbeat and gorgeous!
Highlights of the evening were the end of set one where Matt Helen and Kacie did a tribute to the 4 seasons with AUTUMN LEAVES (fall), THE ROSE (winter), STORMY WEATHER (spring), and SUMMERTIME (summer). During the extended jazzy jam of SUMMERTIME all three sang building up to a crescendo of musical bliss! This was one of the best performances done at numbers so far!
Set one was really fun and upbeat... it was long, over an hour, but the crowd loved it! Set two was a little shorter, and the performers were all a lot drunker, but it went of quite well anyways! Kacie did a gorgeous performance of COME FLY WITH ME which really showed off her pipes! Helen did a wonderful version of PIECE OF MY HEART which was the old jazz version (as opposed to the janis version). The show ended with an encore for the departed Jenn Boyd, and it was a cover of Pink Floyd's WISH YOU WERE HERE with matt singing and playing electric piano, and kacie offering electric harmonies!
