Review:

Matt’s biggest show yet! Take it in the ear was a full day festival in Tssawwassen, with 12 bands in 12 hours! Matt was lucky enough to share the stage with some of the best local acts around! CHERRYBOMB (featuring Vicky Sjohall, Jenny Galt, and Suzanne Wilson) played an amazing set, as well as locals RED SCARE, MR UNDERHILL, ETHER’S VOID, HAPPINESS, STARLIT, FLEXURE, SECOND NARROWS, EPISODE and others! Headlining the show was Victoria’s THE SPECIAL GUESTS who played a great set including their new hit Take You Higher!

Matt’s performance with the band was outstanding – with a full 4 piece band (Matt at keyboards, Ian on Bass, Justin on Guitar, and John on Drums) this half hour set sounded loud, full, and passionate! Starting with the new song WORTH HIS WHILE Matt kicked the show into gear…keeping the pace with THE LONG TALK (first performance with a full band – crazy!!!) and then old favourites like JULY and AS I GO ALONG! Matt & Justin finished the show solo with TROUBLED and a tiny bit of whole lotta love in there too! Look forward to MORE mp3s and pictures from this show soon!
