Winter in Vancouver can get chilly and
dull, so Matthew & the gang have started up a new regular gig! In the
intimate Central Bistro on Denman street downtown, a few of the numbers
regulars & Matthew have come together as a new performance troup! Plugged in
at Central Bistro goes every Tuesday night from 8:30pm-11:00pm and features
a set by Kacie Wallace, Tara C Taylor, and Matthew Presidente. Hazen Rice
plays guitar throughout and there is a weekly guest act! No cover, cheap
booze!
THIS CITY'S COLORS
Matthew is currently writing and recording a new project
themed around violence and related issues in his hometown of Vancouver,
British Columbia. Some of the new songs have already made it into his
regular performance repertoire, and one in particular has caught the
attention of a Langara Film crew. This performance of THIS CITY'S COLORS was
recorded in June of 2009 and is presented here in HighDef as a preview for
the new album which should be expected early next year!
