Brad is a great songwriter and guitarist and has fronted such bands as "Hi-Maintnence" and "Sh1ver" he is currently recording an amazing solo record due out summer 2007. |
| Jenn Boyd: A very talented singer/songwriter who Matt met through a common interest in a certain artist. She is from the small town of Squamish, BC, but the girl has a big voice! | John Henville:
Drummer in matt's band from 2000 onward, also the front man for such acts as 'fridge art tiara', and 'Cheshire blue'. Released two CDs on his own the first (and matt's personal favourite) 'i love women, in fact I love them so much I am one now' included the hit 'forest boogie'. Matt Walsh produced and recorded the CD in his home studio, as well as played drums on it! Songs like "Insecure/Immature" and "Feelin' Good" were all made better because of his groovy drum beats! He learned to play these funky beats while playing with his band the Redscare. |
| Ian Malinski: Ian and Matt have played together for years since 1999, Matt played piano on his stuff, and Ian played guitar on Matt's. It's Ian's classy riffs that really added a lot to the earlier songs like 'July' and 'Willow'. Ian did all the guitars on Matthew's first album "things that go through your head in Math Class". Ian has continued to play bass for Matt when he does full band shows here and there! |
| Gemma Aird:
Matt and Gemma were friends since high school and in 1998 started a band called RED HOT MAMA! This band didn't last long, but their two hit songs "Red Hot Mama" and "The Donna Song" still live on through Matt's live shows - both songs written by both artists are at their best when performed with Gemma! She is a fun songwriter and a good friend! |
